About Me
Drawing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. What started off as a childhood hobby has developed over the years into what I sincerely hope will be a lifelong career. I draw in some form or other almost daily, mainly for enjoyment and often it helps me relax. The mediums I use are varied, both in traditional and digital art. Although I have my favourite techniques, I am very willing to try anything new.
I am
currently a student in my final year at
I am a motivated and enthusiastic person who is keen
to set off my career in anything art related.
I consider myself to be a very hard working, dedicated and conscientious person,
who is more than willing to learn from others with more experience and knowledge
than myself. I am comfortable with working on my own as well
as part of a team.
I have had some experience already designing characters from a set brief, and also have a keen interest in designing comic / animated characters as a hobby. I have created several of my own characters and even written a few short stories / storyboards based on these. I would be thrilled if these were brought to public print or broadcast on television.
After
leaving secondary education I went on to take a National BTEC in e-media and
passed this course with distinctions. It
was whilst doing this course, which covered a wide variety of subjects, that I
realised animation was the career route I wanted to take. I hope that I am they
type of person you would be willing to employ and would be happy to supply my C.V.
or any additional information you require.
